    The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are launching their very own Enterprise Week - a week of events and activities, hosted by organisations operating within the borough, for the entrepreneurs and enterprises based in the borough. This exciting week offers a simple way for all to reach beyond immediate networks and connect with potential new partners,
    funders, customers + supporters!


    This week will operate in tandem with Global Entrepreneurship Week, where entrepreneurs across the world will learn from each other and experts in their field...

    Join us to celebrate the first RBKC Enterprise Week the Museum of Brands 111-117 Lancaster Road, on the 14th November from 8.30am until 10 am. We welcome all entrepreneurs, enterprises and businesses in the RBKC area for a networking breakfast event. Opening speech by Cllr Catherine Faulks and Chris Griffin, CEO at the Museum of Brands. Hear from a number of the KCCC Business Award Winners 2018 who will present their winning businesses followed by an exploration of the Museum’s 150-year collection of brands, packaging and advertising - exploring how brands shape our world.

    Tour of Innocent ltd (with Daniel and Josh)​

    When: Wednesday 14th November 3:00 (ending at 5:00 pm approximately)

    Where: innocent ltd, Fruit Towers, 342 Ladbroke Grove, London W10 5BU (entry via gate is on Kensal Road)

    More: FREE - this schools only event is for post-16 students (Year 12 or 13). innocent would particularly welcome students currently studying the sciences. Each visit is limited to 16 students. Students must be accompanied by a minimum 1 member of staff.

    “We started innocent in 1999 after selling our smoothies at a music festival. We put up a big sign asking people if they thought we should give up our jobs to make smoothies, and put a bin saying 'Yes' and a bin saying 'No" in front of the stall. Then we got people to vote with their empties. At the end of the weekend, the 'Yes' bin was full, so we resigned from our jobs the next day and got cracking.”


    Your visit to Fruit Towers will start with a tour of our offices and the innocent timeline. You will arrive at the Penthouse where the innocent team will introduce you to the innocent supply chain before you play the Supply Chain Game... then time for questions. While you are visiting, please have a drink on us :)

    When: Friday 16th November from 11:00–5pm

    FREE - spaces limited for RBKC Enterprise Week 2018, the Director of Kensington Creates will be offering half hour bookable slots for “startup surgery” - an informal and relaxed inquiry into your business. The approach taken will be that of a coach, and no suggestions or opinion should be interpreted as advice.

    Cultivate Creativity!

    When: Friday 16th November 9am - 11am

    A FREE workshop in which participants will explore various approaches to generating creativity. They will be encouraged to examine their own creative process, before stepping back and examining creativity outside of normal conceptions of it

    Workshop: Brand Evolution Challenge, Museum of Brands. In this one-hour interactive workshop participants are encouraged to think about how and why brands have evolved over the years to reflect changing consumer needs. After undertaking visual research, participants work in teams to devise how they think the brand should re-position in relation to current market trends. Ideas are pitched to the group and museum team. Workshops cost £180 for up to 25 participants, with a maximum of 30 participants for an additional cost.     Day Course: Enterprise Experience, Museum of Brands. An interactive branding day course. Participants work in teams on a branding brief, performing live market research on Portobello Road in order to develop an existing product to reflect consumer needs and current market trends. The teams present a new brand innovation and a customer profiling board to the museum team for constructive critique.     Professional Development Talk: Design For Happiness
